Karora - The Accreditation Framework 

Kaora can be configured and shaped to fit any accreditation model practiced in business. Using this framework organizations can get an accreditation system that meets their specific needs for a fraction of the cost if built from scratch.

The General Accreditation Steps

The system can be configured for the following Accreditation steps

  • Application: Manage the application process   
  • Assessment: Assess the application and process
  • Assign Auditors or Assessors : Auditors or Assessors are assigned to conduct on site assessments  
  • Capture Assessment Data :Assessments are captured in the system
  • Score: System automatically generates the Score. Decisions can be sent out automatically 
  • Score Review :Scores are reviewed. Reviewer can drill down into the details, modify the values and re-score
  • Decision: Reviewer makes final decision
  • Decision Report and Certificate Generation: System automatically generates a Decision Report and Certificate based on templates 
  • Notifications : System automatically  sends the decision to the Applicant   
  • Maintenance: Accredited body manages the maintenance during the term of the Accreditation  
  • Renewal: Accredited body manages the renewal process

 

Assessment and Scoring Methods   

Karora is a flexible model for assessments and can handle any  type of assessment methods used

Karora has the ability to construct a hierarchical model of criteria in the form of  Standards > Topics > Criteria  and Indictors.

Scores are aggregated from the lowest to the highest level and users can drill down during the scoring review process

Assessments are captured at the indicator level and the system displays the scores fro each applicant  in the scoring dashboard

During an accreditation process you can apply more than one scoring algorithm to the assessed value

While the system automatically generates the initial score the reviewer can drill down to the scoring details and modify the values to re-score

Assessments can be performed in different slices

Assessments can be based on different assessment tools such as

  1. Surveys Tools
  2. Criteria and Indictor Tools
  3. Group Tools
  4. etc

System maintains a history of the scores for the initial score and the re-scoring process

The Scoring Dashboard

Every Applicant has a Scoring dashboard that shows ALL the various scoring elements in a consolidated screen

Reviewers can drill down from here and dive into the details

The system enables user to  review the scoring results using Graphs or Tables   

User can compare an Applicants score results generated from multiple algorithms  

Web Assessment Forms

The Auditors and Assessors can capture the assessments directly to a Web form on site on any laptop or tablet PC and remotely submit data to system for scoring.

Workflow Engine

The General Accreditation Framework has a sophisticated workflow engine that enables us to model the accreditation workflow for any organization based on their needs.  The Workflow engine manages users “my activities” . Users are guided by this workflow at each step of the way and are always on top of the tasks and issues as a result .

Automation

System streamlines and automates many of the Accreditation steps enabling faster processing of an accreditation request. Through streamlining and automation the system can halve the time it takes to process an accreditation request from start to finish

Payments

System can be integrated to any ERP system to process payments, cancellations etc

The system enables users to receive  payments against an accreditation  step , apply payments and Cancel a step
